The Why & How of Alkaline Foods

In my quest for Vibrant Health, I considered the alkaline diet as recommended by my dear acupuncturist, Dr. Kim in Costa Rica. But to adhere to it strictly, I’d have to be vegetarian and that ain’t gonna fly at my house. So I’m going to simply pay attention to my ph and make sure I have plenty of raw alkaline foods to balance out the grilled rib-eyes. Yum!

UPDATE: Since writing this post, I have essentially abandoned the acid/alkaline diet in favor of traditional foods. Within that framework, I try to limit my acid causing foods, but not following the a/a diet as I did for a couple of months. The concept and practice of eating traditional foods fits me. I include this @ FiftyToLife.com as part of my journey, and in case this way of eating resonates with you!
